The San Antonio Emotionally Focused Therapy Community (SAEFTC) seeks to promote the mission of the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (*ICEEFT), which is dedicated to the understanding and enhancement of couple and family relationships through an emphasis on emotions and their interpersonal impact.

 

We are a community of licensed mental health professionals who seek to give the best care to our couples and families as well as individuals, which we believe is best accomplished using Emotionally Focused Therapy, or EFT.  We strive to build a collaborative community through ongoing education and support by meeting quarterly as well as through special presentations and workshop. 

 

 

We seek to bring greater awareness of EFT to the professional counseling, marriage and family, social work, psychology and ministerial professions in San Antonio and South Central Texas so as to grow this community so that more and more people can benefit from Emotionally Focused Therapy.

We are a group of like-minded professionals who share a passion for EFT and who seek to enlarge our community through meetings trainings, and give common support for all professionals who desire to learn about EFT and develop and further grow in their knowledge of EFT.  We support and promote local EFT Externships, Core Skills trainings and Hold Me Tight © workshops as well as put on quarterly seminars (with CEUs) and additional workshops.  Our desire is to create a caring EFT community for all EFT therapists and therapists who seek to know more about EFT.
